New Year’s Cheers

Hello Friends! Happy New Year’s Eve!

I’m finishing the year with one last card and wanted it to fit the occasion. Celebrating the old and new year with some bubbly champagne.

Started by using Basic Black cardstock for the card base. Then, I used Whisper White for the first layer. The second layer, a strip of black and white diagonal striped dsp. Punched with the Triple Banner Punch. This dsp is part of the Botanical Butterfly DSP. The DSP will be available starting January 3rd, part of the Sale-A-Bration, free with a $50 purchase.

The “Cheers” sentiment is from the Time For Tea Stamp Set and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The gold foil sheet was cut using the largest stitched circle die. I die cut the two bottles in Whisper White Cardstock and then used the Stampin’ Blends to color them. I added the labels and stamping to the bottles before adhering them to the circle using Mini Dimensionals. Before adhering the circle to the card with Dimensionals, I place the circle where I wanted it and then stamped the bubbles in Crushed Curry.

I finished the card by coordinating the envelope with a piece of matching dsp.

Happy New Year! Best wishes to you and your loved ones. May it be full of blessings, love, good health and of course lots of crafting.

XOXO
Erika

Just For You

Hello friends!

I’m so excited to share with you another card that features the Be Mine Stitch Framelits.

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base. The first layer, Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped with the bubble looking stamp from the Gallery Grunge Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo. Then I wrapped a piece of the flirty flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack. I mounted the first layer to the base using Dimensionals. On a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock I stamped the smaller hearts and cut them out using the Be Mine Stitch Framelits. On another piece of Whisper White Cardstock I die cut the bigger heart. Then, I stamped the sentiment from Meant To Be Stamp Set, in flirty flamingo. I adhered one of the smaller hearts to the corner of the larger heart using a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then, I mounted the hearts using Dimensionals.

Last, I added  a couple Heart Epoxy Droplets and coordinated the envelope by adding a piece of  All My Love DSP to the envelope flap.

I just love the new stitch  hearts. Starting January 3rd, you may purchase them and the stamp set, as a bundle to save 10%, and other accessories in the Stampin’ Up 2019 Occasions Catalog.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. CASE-ing Tuesday #178, was used for inspiration. Visit CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what others have created and share your CASE. Thank you for stopping by.

You Make Me Happy FMS #367

Hello friends!

I’m officially done making Christmas cards! Time to start wrapping and baking, but before that I wanted to play with a couple new things I received this week. These items will be available to customers in the Stampin’ Up 2019 Occasions Catalog, January 3, 2019.

For my card, I started with Crumb Cake for the card base. The first and second larger are cut using the Rectangle Stitch Framelit Dies. All My Love DSP is used for the second layer. I adhered the second layer to the first, then those to the card base. For the heart, I used the new Be Mine Stitch Framelits Dies and stamped the sentiment using the Meant To Be Stamp Set. The dies and stamp set are part of the Meant To Be bundle.

I adhered the scallop heart with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the stitch heart with Mini Dimensionals. To finish the card, I added some pearls.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration. I hope you have enjoyed today’s card and are excited as me for the new products! Thank you for stopping by.

Painted Harvest Christmas Wreath

Hello friends!

Have you finished making all your Christmas cards? Do you need to mass produced? Well here’s a card that is so pretty and easy to make that you’ll have your cards done in no time.

I just love this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday #177! It’s such a simple layout. Here’s my take on this week’s card.

I started with Thick Whisper White Cardstock for the card base. Then, on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock I stamped the wreath using the two step Painted Harvest Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam and Call Me Clover. Using the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment in Call Me Clover. I adhered this to a piece of Call Me Clover. Then I adhered this to the card base using Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added Red Rhinestones and a bow using Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake.

Bonus card for today! I just couldn’t decide what set to use so I made a card with each set.  This card features Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog. It was stamped using Balmy Blue. The sentiment was from the Christmas Pines Stamp Set.

Here’s this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday card that features Wishing You Well Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.  Visit us at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group and see what other stampers have created and share your CASE with us! Thank you for stopping by.

Season of Joy

Hello friends, happy December!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #176! Where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card this week features the Dashing Deer and Christmas Pines Stamp Sets. I started by using Merry Merlot Cardstock for my card base. Then, I used Joyous Noel Specialty DSP for my first layer. The second layer, I used the Stamparatus to stamp the deer on Whisper White Cardstock with Merry Merlot. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the deer, so that I could stamp it twice without any boo boos. I then punched the corners using the Darling Label Punch. I adhered the deer to the first layer using Dimensionals. The last layer, the sentiment, was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock using the Christmas Pines sentiment. The sentiment was stamped using Shaded Spruce. It was adhered using Mini Dimensionals. Lastly, I coordinated the envelope by using the same DSP.

This is the card that CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group used for inspiration this week. Loved how simple and quick this card was. Great for mass production.

I hope you enjoy this week’s CASE. Visit our group to see what others created. Thank you for stopping by, have a great week!

Christmas Blessings

Hello friends!

I have seen many stampers make beautiful wreaths by using various stamps, so today I decided to give it a try! For my card I’m just going to use one stamp, making it simple for me since it’s my first time.

I started with a Merry Merlot card base. For the first layer, I used a piece of Joyous Noel Specialty DSP adhered to Tranquil Tide Cardstock. The second layer, the wreath, I started by lightly tracing a circle with a pencil on Whisper White Cardstock. I then used the stamp from Peaceful Poinsettia to make the wreath around the circle I drew. I used Shaded Spruce for the wreath and every other branch is stamped off. I adhered the wreath to a piece of Tranquil Tide Cardstock. This piece is adhered to the card base. The final layer is the sentiment. I used the sentiment from Christmas Pines, stamped it on Whisper White Cardstock using Merry Merlot. The ends are punched using the Triple Banner Punch and adhered with Mini Dimensionals.

I also stamped the inside with a sentiment and coordinated the envelope with the card.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

I’m very happy with the way the wreath turn out! Not to bad for my first try, right?  Hope you
enjoyed my card. Thank you for stopping by.

Jump For Joy Sweet Baby

Hello friends, happy Tuesday!

I’m jumping for joy as I get ready to welcome my friend’s sweet bundle of joy next month. Today I’m making her a sweet card using the stamp set Sweet Baby on page 89 in the annual catalog.

For today’s card I started with Soft Sea Foam for my card base. Then, for the first layer I used Twinkle Twinkle DSP, which I adhered to the card base using liquid glue.

For the second layer, I stamped the baby on Whisper White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the image using Stamping’ Blends and die cut it using the largest stitch oval framelit. Behind the baby image I glued some Silver & Petal Pink Baker’s Twine and a piece of Twinkle Twinkle DSP that I punched the ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I adhered this layer to the first layer using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black. To finish the card I added some Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins and added some DSP to the envelope to coordinate with the card.

I also added a sentiment to the inside of the card.

Simple Poinsettia

Happy Monday!

I have such a busy day ahead, but was able to sneak into my craft room this morning and play with
the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set.

I started with a Thick Whisper White Cardstock card base. Then, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the holly on the side. I colored it using Stampin’ Blends. I then stamped the poinsettia image with Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White Cardstock, colored it with the Stampin’ Blends and die cut it using the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits. I mounted the cut image onto Whisper White Cardstock using Mini Dimensionals. This piece was then mounted onto a piece of Real Red Cardstock using liquid glue. Then this was mounted onto the card base using Mini Dimensionals. Lastly, I added the Gold Faceted Gem to the center of the poinsettia and the Red Rhinestones.

Since I didn’t stamp a sentiment on the outside, I stamped one inside.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week.

Peaceful Poinsettia

Hello friends! Happy Sunday!

I just love poinsettias for the holidays. Love their charm and bright colors. When I saw the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog I just had to get it.

I couldn’t decide what green to use for the card base, at the end I decided with Garden Green. I adhered Whisper White Cardstock to the base. I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set in Garden Green. Then, I used the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies to cut the poinsettia out and the pine needles from Pretty Pines Thinlits. I then adhered it to the Whisper White Cardstock using mini Dimensionals. Didn’t this card turn out beautiful?

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous Sunday!

Hello friends!

Are you guys ready for the holidays?  I’m not! And there’s only a couple weeks before I need to start mailing my Christmas cards. Yikes! Time for me to start creating all the beautiful cards that I’ll be mailing. So, let me kick-off this holiday season by creating a beautiful Christmas card.

My card features the Dashing Deer Stamp Set. Merry Merlot is used for the card base. Joyous Noel Specialty DSP is used for the first layer. Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the deer twice onto Whisper White Cardstock in Merry Merlot. Behind this, I adhered a piece of DSP, a stitched circle shape and some Gold Metallic Thread. I adhered this second layer using Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, with Crumb Cake ink. I punched one end using the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it with mini Dimensionals.

I finished the card by adding some Gold Faceted Gems and decorating the envelope with DSP.

Happy Birthday Mom

Good morning! Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday.

It’s  November and that means it’s time to get crafty for the holidays, but before I do....a birthday card for my beautiful mom!

For her card I wanted a soft color with a little bit of a Fall feeling. I decided to use Mint Macaron Cardstock for the card base and Country Lane DSP for the first layer. Before adhering the DSP to the card base, I wrapped two pieces of Braided Linen Trim around the DSP. Then, I stamped the milk can and flowers onto Whisper White Cardstock using Momento Tuxedo Black. I colored these with Stampin’ Blends. I then adhered it to a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock. Using Dimensionals, I adhered this piece to the first layer. For the sentiment, I stamped it onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and adhered it with a Dimensional. To finish the card, I used two Gold Faceted Gems to give it some bling and decorated the envelope with DSP.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for visiting!

Grateful For You

Hello Friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #171! Where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card for the week uses Crumb Cake Cardstock for the card base. The first layer is embossed using the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions EF, in Crumb Cake Cardstock - which was adhered to the card base. On the second layer, Very Vanilla Cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the.
Falling For Leaves Stamp Set in Cajun Craze. Then, using Old Olive, I stamped the vines from the Pleasant Pheasants Stamp Set over and under the sentiment. I don’t have a corner punch, so I used the Darling Label Punch to punch the corners. Before mounting this layer to the first layer, I punched out some leaves in Old Olive and Copper Glimmer using the Leaf Punch, and adhere them to the back of the sentiment. Using a glue dot, I adhered a Copper Leaf Trinket. I unraveled a piece of Braided Linen Trim and made a bow which I adhered to the Leaf Trinket. To finish the card, I decorated the envelope using Nature’s Poem DSP.

Here’s a picture of how I used the punch to make the corner.

And here’s  a closer look at the details. I just love that trinket!

Here’s the card we  are  CASE-ing over at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. I hope you visit our page and join us in CASE-ing this week’s card. We would love to see your CASE. Thank you for visiting, have a wonderful week.

Birthday Wishes

Hello Friends,

Who doesn’t like butterflies? I think they’re so pretty and always bring a smile to my face when I see one. I made this card to wish someone special a very happy birthday. Hoping it brings a smile to their face.

I decided to create the card using the birthday girl’s favorite color, purple and combined it with a soft blue.

I started by spritzing some Frosted White Shimmer Paint onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock.  Once that dried, I cut out the butterfly using the Springtime Impressions Thinlits. I set that aside until I was ready to use it.

Using the bubble looking stamp from the Gallery Grunge Stamp Set, I stamped this a couple times onto the Whisper White Cardstock in Pool Party and then with Gorgeous Grape. I also stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape using the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set. I wrapped a piece of Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon at the top of the card. I mounted this onto a piece of Pool Party Cardstock, which then I mounted onto the Gorgeous Grape cardbase. Using a bit of  the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I mounted the butterfly to the center of the card. I then added the Clear Rhinestones onto the butterfly and next to the sentiment. To finish my card I decorated the envelope using the Subtles DSP in Pool Party.

Here’s a closer look at the butterfly. You can see a bit of the shimmer it has. I just love how it turned out! Don’t you agree this butterfly will make this birthday extra special?

Thank you friends for stopping by. If you have any questions in regards the card feel free to ask.
