Good-bye Lemon Zest

Hello Stampers! Happy Tuesday!

Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite stamps sets.....the Lemon Zest Stamp Set! I love this set because I love lemons! Love their taste, their smell, and how they remind me of my dad. I’m sad that this set will be retiring June 3, 2019.

I started with Pineapple Punch cardstock for the card base. Then, I used Pineapple Punch In Color DSP (which will be retiring soon) for the first layer. Before adhering the DSP to the card front I wrapped  a piece of Granny Apple Green Texture Weave Ribbon and Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

On scraps of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the lemons and leaves and punched them out with the Lemon Builder Punch. I adhered the leaves using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the Lemons with Stampin’ Up Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black. To finish the card I added some Granny Apple Green Enamel Dots.

Today’s card was very easy to create. I was inspired by the sketch provided by CASE-ing Tuesday. Join us over at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group! See what others have created and share with us your take on this week’s sketch.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!

Country Birthday Wishes

Hello Stampers! It’s CASE-ing Tuesday and time to play along with CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group.

Today, this pretty box/canvas was provided for the CASE. It was decorated using the You’re Inspiring Stamp Set.

And this is the sketch that you can use to CASE. I will be using this sketch to make my card. Love how it provides the measurements!

Here’s my card. For the card front I used the grass image from Country Road Stamp Set. I stamped it using Mint Macaron.

I stamped the boots from the Country Livin’ Stamp Set in Memento Black and colored them using Light/Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. For the flowers and fern I used the Jar Of Love Stamp Set.  The fern was stamped using Mint Macaron. I used Lovely Lipstick for the little flowers. Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo for the next smallest flowers and used the coordinating framelits (Everyday Jars) to cut them out. The bigger flowers were stamped using Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody and cut out using the framelits. I adhered this to a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock. On a
scrap of Mint Macaron cardstock I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays in Memento Black. The embellishments used were from the Frosted Flower Embellishments and Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and that it inspires you to get inky. Go to CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what others have created. Until next time.

If Flowers Were Hugs

Happy Sunday!

For today’s card I’m using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

and Ian’s color challenge at Stamping For All Facebook Group.

For my card I used the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set. I thought this set was perfect for the color challenge as this colors are perfect for a spring card.
I used the Mint Macaron for the card base. Then, using the largest Rectangle Stitched Framelit die I
cut out a piece of Daffodil Delight. The Whisper White is cut out using the second largest Rectangle Stitched Framelit.

I started with the fuller stem image and stamped it with Mint Macaron (stamped off twice). Then, using Old Olive (stamped off once), the other stem image was stamped on top. Using Daffodil Delight,  I stamped the fuller flowers in Daffodil Delight (stamped off once). Then over them I stamped the less fuller flowers in Daffodil Delight.

On a piece of Crumb Cake I embossed the sentiment and adhered it using a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Whisper White cardstock to the Daffodil Delight cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then adhered this layer to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then added some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to some of the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful week.
