Happy Birthday To You!

Hello Stampers! Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. Today’s card is bright and cheerful, perfect  to wish someone a Happy Birthday.

I started with Coastal Cabana card base. For the card front, I used Granny Apple Green, How Sweet It Is DSP, and Gorgeous Grape.

Then, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White cardstock. Using the Stampin’ Up Blends I colored the letters. I started by coloring with the light shade, then outlining with the darker shade and then one more time with the light shade. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish the card I added Coastal Cabana Glitter Enamel Dots to the corners and decorated the envelope flap with DSP.

I used the sketch and rainbow part of the photo from Fusion Card Challenge for inspiration. It turn out to be such a fun card, don’t you agree? I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for stopping by.

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #187! Where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all. And with a sketche!! Which makes CASE-ing so much fun! You can use the card being CASE’d or the sketch provided to create your card.

The card being CASE’d features the Incredible Like You Stamp Set, which can be found on page 21 of the Occasions Catalog.

And here is the sketch with measurements. Love that measurements are provided.

My card features the Happiness Blooms Suite, page 25 from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I’m using the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set, Happiness Blooms DSP, Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

I used Night Of Navy Cardstock for the card base. I like a bit of the base to show so my first layer, the DSP is smaller by 1/8” all around.

For the second layer, I stamped the images onto Whisper White Cardstock in Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, and Pineapple Punch. I adhered this to a piece of Night Of Navy cardstock that measures 3 5/8” x 4 3/8”. 

 The sentiment was stamped using Night Of Navy onto Whisper White cardstock and it’s from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set. I adhered  the sentiment to a piece of Night Of Navy cardstock  that measures  2 1/8” x 1 7/8”. This piece was adhere to the card front with Mini Dimensionals.

Two little flowers were punched and adhered with glue dots and an enamel dot was added to the center of each one.

Hello stampers!

Today’s card was created for my sister who got engaged this weekend. We are all so excited for her and her future husband.

I wanted a soft and simple look for the card. I decided to use the colors Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam, and Very Vanilla. I used the Meant To Be Bundle (stamps & framelits), the Subtle and Tufted Embossing Folders. The sentiment came from the Petal Palette Stamp Set.

The first layer was embossed using the Subtle EF. Using the circle punch from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack, I punched a half circle on both sides. This was done so the twine can stay in place. I saw stamper, Stesha Bloodhart, share this great idea. The Soft Sea Foam cardstock was stamped with the little rose stamp and adhered to the card front. The large heart was die cut using the largest scalloped heart die. Once cut, I embossed the the heart using the Tufted EF. Two little hearts were also die cut - one in Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and the striped one was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock.

To finish the card I stamped the flap of the envelope with the little rose stamp.

Twinkle twinkle little star, do you know how loved your are? Today’s card is perfect for welcoming a special baby.

It features the Twinkle Twinkle DSP and Little Twinkle Stamp Set. The colors used for the card are Night of Navy and Pool Party.

The sentiment was stamped using Night of Navy. I just love the font used for this sentiment.

A bow in Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon, a couple of Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins, and an envelope with coordinating DSP completes the card.

This is the card being CASE’d which features the Sweetest Thing Bundle (stamps and framelits).

And this is the sketch provided for the CASE. Isn’t it wonderful? I really like how the measurements are provided. The measurements for this card are for a note card. I did a standard card, so the measurements for the card base are a bit different.

Here’s my take on this week’s CASE. For my card, I used the Beautiful Promenade Bundle, Layered Leaves EF and some scraps from the Botanical Butterfly DSP.

The card base is a Thick Whisper White cardstock. The embossed layer is on Whisper White cardstock.

The flowers are stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Pool Party/Balmy Blue, Highland Heather/Gorgeous Grape, and Lemon Lime Twist/Granny Apple Green. They are die cut using the coordinating framelit in the bundle. The middle flower is adhered with Mini Dimensionals. The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set is stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and adhered to the DSP, which is then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

A bow was added and the envelope was decorated to finish the card.

You’re A Classic

Hi Stampers!
My card for today is for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. It features the
Geared Up Garage Bundle from Stampin’ Up.
When choosing the colors for the card I went with the color of the recipient’s car, blue.

I started with Pacific Point card base. Then, I embossed the sentiment on the first layer, Classic Garage DSP, and adhered it to the card. The second layer,  the Basic Gray Banner was adhered. The third layer, Neutrals DSP was adhered. The fourth layer, Classic Garage DSP was adhered. Finally, I stamped the car image and used the coordinating die to cut it and adhered it to the card front.

Here’s a closer look at the embossing. 

Mini Dimensionals were used to adhere the car to the card.

Here’s the sketch for the challenge. Love how it provides the measurements. I adjusted the measurements to my card since my card was in landscape direction.

Bouquet of Hearts #FF0026

Lots of shades of red and hearts for this card! 

I started with Lovely Lipstick for the card base and adhered the heart paper from the All My Love DSP onto the base. I then cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. On this, I stamped the “stem” using the ballon string from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set. Then, stamped the jar image from Jar Of Haunts stamp Set (retired since I don’t have Jar Of Love set) onto Blushing Bride cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating framelit. I wrapped a piece of Flirty Flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack around the jar. I stamped the sentiment using the Little Twinkle Set. I inked the “love you” using the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write. I then adhered the jar to the cardstock. Using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies I cut out the little hearts. I adhered the white cardstock onto a piece of Lovely Lipstick, that was also die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I adhered this onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish the card, I added a bow on the side.
