Jump For Joy Sweet Baby

Hello friends, happy Tuesday!

I’m jumping for joy as I get ready to welcome my friend’s sweet bundle of joy next month. Today I’m making her a sweet card using the stamp set Sweet Baby on page 89 in the annual catalog.

For today’s card I started with Soft Sea Foam for my card base. Then, for the first layer I used Twinkle Twinkle DSP, which I adhered to the card base using liquid glue.

For the second layer, I stamped the baby on Whisper White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the image using Stamping’ Blends and die cut it using the largest stitch oval framelit. Behind the baby image I glued some Silver & Petal Pink Baker’s Twine and a piece of Twinkle Twinkle DSP that I punched the ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I adhered this layer to the first layer using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black. To finish the card I added some Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins and added some DSP to the envelope to coordinate with the card.

I also added a sentiment to the inside of the card.

I used the CASE-ing Tuesday card for inspiration. Join us at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Page, where we CASE (copy) a card from one of the current Stampin’ Up Catalogs, by changing a little, a lot, or nothing at all. We would love to see your CASE.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed today’s card. Have a wonderful week!

Pleasant Pheasants Happy Thanksgiving

Hello friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #174, where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card this week features the Pleasant Pheasants Stamp Set, on page 44 from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.

I used Early Expresso Cardstock for the card base. The first layer, was embossed using the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies and Big Shot Embossing Mats and was adhered to the base using liquid glue. The second layer, a piece of Country Lane DSP, was punched using the Triple Banner Punch. I adhered this to the first layer using liquid glue. The third and final layer, is a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. I stamped the image and sentiment in Early Expresso ink and adhered it using Mini Dimensionals. And of course my matching envelope.

Today’s CASE features the Happiness and Cheer Stamp Set. I hope that I have inspired you to do some CASE-ing and that you join us at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, we would love to see your CASE.

Simple Poinsettia

Happy Monday!

I have such a busy day ahead, but was able to sneak into my craft room this morning and play with
the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set.

I started with a Thick Whisper White Cardstock card base. Then, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the holly on the side. I colored it using Stampin’ Blends. I then stamped the poinsettia image with Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White Cardstock, colored it with the Stampin’ Blends and die cut it using the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits. I mounted the cut image onto Whisper White Cardstock using Mini Dimensionals. This piece was then mounted onto a piece of Real Red Cardstock using liquid glue. Then this was mounted onto the card base using Mini Dimensionals. Lastly, I added the Gold Faceted Gem to the center of the poinsettia and the Red Rhinestones.

Since I didn’t stamp a sentiment on the outside, I stamped one inside.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week.

Happy Memories

Hello Friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #173, where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card this week features the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set, on page 33 from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.

For the card base I used Real Red Cardstock. The first layer is piece of All Is Bright DSP, that is adhered to the card base using liquid glue. The second layer is a piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock that was embossed using the Simple Stripes Textured EF. The third layer is the sentiment from Timeless Tidings Stamp Set stamped on Whisper White Cardstock using Real Red. The third layer is adhered to the second layer using liquid glue. Behind the piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock I adhered some Gold Metallic Thread with a glue dot. Then, I adhered the piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock to the card base with some Mini Dimensionals. On a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped two hollies from the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them using the Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut them using the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Die. I adhered them to the corners of the Whisper White Cardstock using Mini Dimensionals. To finish the card I added some red rhinestones and coordinated the envelope.

Today’s CASE was inspired by CASE-ing Tuesday’s card on page 4 of the Holiday Catalog. It features the Merry Christmas To All Stamp Set.

Peaceful Poinsettia

Hello friends! Happy Sunday!

I just love poinsettias for the holidays. Love their charm and bright colors. When I saw the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog I just had to get it.

I couldn’t decide what green to use for the card base, at the end I decided with Garden Green. I adhered Whisper White Cardstock to the base. I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set in Garden Green. Then, I used the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies to cut the poinsettia out and the pine needles from Pretty Pines Thinlits. I then adhered it to the Whisper White Cardstock using mini Dimensionals. Didn’t this card turn out beautiful?

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous Sunday!

Holiday Kick-Off - Dashing Deer

Hello friends!

Are you guys ready for the holidays?  I’m not! And there’s only a couple weeks before I need to start mailing my Christmas cards. Yikes! Time for me to start creating all the beautiful cards that I’ll be mailing. So, let me kick-off this holiday season by creating a beautiful Christmas card.

My card features the Dashing Deer Stamp Set. Merry Merlot is used for the card base. Joyous Noel Specialty DSP is used for the first layer. Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the deer twice onto Whisper White Cardstock in Merry Merlot. Behind this, I adhered a piece of DSP, a stitched circle shape and some Gold Metallic Thread. I adhered this second layer using Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, with Crumb Cake ink. I punched one end using the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it with mini Dimensionals.

I finished the card by adding some Gold Faceted Gems and decorating the envelope with DSP.

I used CASE-ing Tuesday #172 for inspiration. This CASE has totally helped me kick-off the holidays. Join us over at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, see what others have created. We hope we have inspired you and that you share your CASE with us. Until next week my friends, have a wonderful week!

Happy Birthday Mom

Good morning! Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday.

It’s  November and that means it’s time to get crafty for the holidays, but before I do....a birthday card for my beautiful mom!

For her card I wanted a soft color with a little bit of a Fall feeling. I decided to use Mint Macaron Cardstock for the card base and Country Lane DSP for the first layer. Before adhering the DSP to the card base, I wrapped two pieces of Braided Linen Trim around the DSP. Then, I stamped the milk can and flowers onto Whisper White Cardstock using Momento Tuxedo Black. I colored these with Stampin’ Blends. I then adhered it to a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock. Using Dimensionals, I adhered this piece to the first layer. For the sentiment, I stamped it onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and adhered it with a Dimensional. To finish the card, I used two Gold Faceted Gems to give it some bling and decorated the envelope with DSP.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for visiting!
