Grateful For You

Hello Friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #171! Where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card for the week uses Crumb Cake Cardstock for the card base. The first layer is embossed using the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions EF, in Crumb Cake Cardstock - which was adhered to the card base. On the second layer, Very Vanilla Cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the.
Falling For Leaves Stamp Set in Cajun Craze. Then, using Old Olive, I stamped the vines from the Pleasant Pheasants Stamp Set over and under the sentiment. I don’t have a corner punch, so I used the Darling Label Punch to punch the corners. Before mounting this layer to the first layer, I punched out some leaves in Old Olive and Copper Glimmer using the Leaf Punch, and adhere them to the back of the sentiment. Using a glue dot, I adhered a Copper Leaf Trinket. I unraveled a piece of Braided Linen Trim and made a bow which I adhered to the Leaf Trinket. To finish the card, I decorated the envelope using Nature’s Poem DSP.

Here’s a picture of how I used the punch to make the corner.

And here’s  a closer look at the details. I just love that trinket!

Here’s the card we  are  CASE-ing over at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. I hope you visit our page and join us in CASE-ing this week’s card. We would love to see your CASE. Thank you for visiting, have a wonderful week.

Erika

Birthday Wishes

Hello Friends,

Who doesn’t like butterflies? I think they’re so pretty and always bring a smile to my face when I see one. I made this card to wish someone special a very happy birthday. Hoping it brings a smile to their face.

I decided to create the card using the birthday girl’s favorite color, purple and combined it with a soft blue.

I started by spritzing some Frosted White Shimmer Paint onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock.  Once that dried, I cut out the butterfly using the Springtime Impressions Thinlits. I set that aside until I was ready to use it.

Using the bubble looking stamp from the Gallery Grunge Stamp Set, I stamped this a couple times onto the Whisper White Cardstock in Pool Party and then with Gorgeous Grape. I also stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape using the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set. I wrapped a piece of Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon at the top of the card. I mounted this onto a piece of Pool Party Cardstock, which then I mounted onto the Gorgeous Grape cardbase. Using a bit of  the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I mounted the butterfly to the center of the card. I then added the Clear Rhinestones onto the butterfly and next to the sentiment. To finish my card I decorated the envelope using the Subtles DSP in Pool Party.

Here’s a closer look at the butterfly. You can see a bit of the shimmer it has. I just love how it turned out! Don’t you agree this butterfly will make this birthday extra special?

Thank you friends for stopping by. If you have any questions in regards the card feel free to ask.

Falling For Leaves

Hello Friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #170,  where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

It really feels like Fall now here where I live, in Southern California. It’s been cooler and bit windy and leaves are flying everywhere. So, for this week’s CASE I knew exactly what stamp set I wanted to use Falling For Leaves from the Stampin’ Up 2018 Holiday Catalog.

I started with a Thick Whisper White Cardstock cardbase. Then, I embossed a piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions EF. After, using the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Die, I cut 2 of the detailed lace in Old Olive Cardstock, 1 detailed leaf in Mango Melody Cardstock, and 1 detailed leaf in Blackberry Bliss Cardstock. I glued the 2 detailed lace cutouts to the back of the embossed Whisper White Cardstock. Then, I glued the detailed leaves on top of the embossed Whisper White Cardstock. Using dimensionals, I mounted this piece onto the cardbase. On another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and punched one end using the Banner Triple Punch and mounted it on top of the the embossed Whisper White using mini dimensionals.

To finish the card, I decorated the envelope by using a piece of Country Lane DSP.

Here’s the card being CASE’d this week. It features the Dashing Deer Bundle. I used a different stamp bundle but think I CASE’d this pretty good. What do you think? Well, I hope you have enjoyed this week’s CASE and that I inspired you. Join us in our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. Come see what others have created and share your CASE with us, we would love to see it! Any question about the card or products, feel free to ask. Thank you for visiting.

Batty For You

Hello friends!

Weloce to CASE-ing Tuesday #169, where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

This week we are CASE-ing pg. 12 from the  Stampin’ Up! 2018 Holiday Catalog. The card chosen features the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set and the Festive Farmhouse DSP.

With Halloween just a few weeks away, I decided to make a card perfect for the
holiday, something SPOOKY. Well far from spooky, but perfect for Halloween.

I started by embossing Basic Black cardstock with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then, I spritzed it with some Frosted White Shimmer Paint (can’t see it iwell in the picture). While that dried, I cut Toil & Trouble DSP, I chose the bats and stars print  I punched the ends of the stars DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the back of the bat DSP. I punched a piece of Mango Melody cardstock with a circle punch and adhered that to the bat DSP. By now the black embossed cardstock has dried, so I mounted it onto the Basic Black cardbase. I then layered the DSP over the embossed cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Spooky Sweets on Whisper White cardstock and punched the ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I also punched the bats using the Spooky Bats Punch and layered it over the moon (Mango Melody circle).

Hope you enjoyed this week’s CASE. Join us in our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, we would love to see your CASE. Have a wonderful week.

A Country Wedding

I was asked to make a wedding card with a country theme. So, I got my two stamp sets with a country theme and came up with this design. I love the way it turned out, and hope the beautiful couple love it too.
To start, I stamped the boots from the Country Livin’  set on Whisper White cardstock, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I stamped the flower image from the Country Livin’ set right on top of the boots. I used the Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. I then mounted it onto Crumb Cake cardstock. I used a sheet from the Wood Textures DSP and wrapped some Crumb Cake Weaved Ribbon and some Braided Linen Trim around the DSP.  Then, I mounted this onto the Crumb Cake cardbase. I then layered the image onto the DSP with dimensionals. I unraveled some of the Braided Linen Trim and made a lasso and bow and adhered it with a glue dot. To finish the card, I stamped the  Petal Palette sentiment right on top of the DSP. I also stamped a sentiment inside the card from the same set.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Fall

Hello Friends!

Weloce to CASE-ing Tuesday #168,  where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

This week we are CASE-ing pg. 46 from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. The card chosen features the Many Blessings Stamp Set.

With one week into October, and the weather feeling more like fall, I decide to go with a Fall theme. Fall is my favorite Season. It means cooler days, time to start baking and didn’t realize it but I really, really love all the fall colors.

For my card, I decided to use Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set, which can be found on pg. 148 of our Annual Catalog. I used Crumb Cake for the base and Nature’s Poem DSP for my first layer. I then stamped the tree image onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I mounted the tree onto Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper and mounted it onto the first layer. I used Healing Hugs Stamp Set for my sentiment, I stamped it onto a piece of  Crumb Cake cardstock and punch a banner using Banner Triple Punch. Using mini dimensionals, I placed the sentiment under the tree. For the final touched I added a button, threaded with some Braided Linen Trim.

Of course, I made the envelope match the card. I also stamped the inside with some leaves.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my card this week. Visit our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, see what others have CASE’d and share you CASE with us. We’ve love to see it. Have a wonderful week!

Making Christmas Bright

Hello stamping friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #167, where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog and change a little, a lot, or nothing at all.

This week we are CASE-ing page 36 from the 2018 Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog. The card we are CASE-ing uses First Frost Stamp Set And Framelits.

For my card, I used the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog on page 7, and the coordinating Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. When I first saw this set it reminded me of my Grandma. During Christmas time, she would decorate the outside of the house with these big light bulbs. Oh and how they would brighten up the house. It reminded me of a gingerbread house.

To get the strings of lights stamped I used the Stamparatus. This helped me space the strings of lights evenly. I moved the plastic plate one slot to the left after each stamp. I stamped them on Whisper White Cardstock.

Using the Stampin’ Blends, I colored the light bulbs. After, I mounted it to the Shaded Spruce card base. I stamped the sentiment using Shade Spruce, punched it out using the Banner Triple Punch. Before mounting the sentiment banner, using some glue dots I mounted some gold metallic thread to the back. Then, I punched the light bulbs and glued them down using liquid glue.

To finish the card, I decorated the envelope using All Is Bright DSP. I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday. Join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group and share your CASE with us. We would love to see it. Until next week friends, have a lovely week.
