Painted Harvest - Layering Technique

Hello stamping friends!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #166, where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog and change a little, a lot, or nothing at all.

This week we are CASE-ing page 28 from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. This card uses the Peaceful Noel stamp set.

For my card, I used Painted Harvest stamp set, from the Annual Catalog, on page 139. This set is another one of my favorites.

I used a layering technique, which is very easy to do. Using repositionable adhesive, I layer 2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock, the smallest piece of whisper white cardstock on top of the bigger one. Then, I stamped the flowers using Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Soft Suede and Old Olive for the leaves.

Once done stamping, I separated the layers and mounted the largest layer to the Mango Melody card base, and the smallest onto another piece of Mango Melody. I then mounted the smallest layer to the card base, making sure the stamped images aligned. After, I stamped the sentiment onto Old Olive cardstock and cut it out using a circle stitched framelit, mounted  it onto the center of the card using mini dimensionals. I finished the card by stamping a sentiment inside the card and decorating my envelope.

Here’s a closer look of the layer. Easy and stunning, don’t you think?

I hope you have enjoyed today’s card. Visit our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group and see what other stampers have shared. I hope we inspire you and that you share your CASE. If you wish to purchase any of the supplies used, please visit My Store. Until next week my friends.
