New Year’s Cheers

Hello Friends! Happy New Year’s Eve!

I’m finishing the year with one last card and wanted it to fit the occasion. Celebrating the old and new year with some bubbly champagne.

Started by using Basic Black cardstock for the card base. Then, I used Whisper White for the first layer. The second layer, a strip of black and white diagonal striped dsp. Punched with the Triple Banner Punch. This dsp is part of the Botanical Butterfly DSP. The DSP will be available starting January 3rd, part of the Sale-A-Bration, free with a $50 purchase.

The “Cheers” sentiment is from the Time For Tea Stamp Set and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The gold foil sheet was cut using the largest stitched circle die. I die cut the two bottles in Whisper White Cardstock and then used the Stampin’ Blends to color them. I added the labels and stamping to the bottles before adhering them to the circle using Mini Dimensionals. Before adhering the circle to the card with Dimensionals, I place the circle where I wanted it and then stamped the bubbles in Crushed Curry.

I finished the card by coordinating the envelope with a piece of matching dsp.

Happy New Year! Best wishes to you and your loved ones. May it be full of blessings, love, good health and of course lots of crafting.

XOXO
Erika

Just For You

Hello friends!

I’m so excited to share with you another card that features the Be Mine Stitch Framelits.

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base. The first layer, Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped with the bubble looking stamp from the Gallery Grunge Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo. Then I wrapped a piece of the flirty flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack. I mounted the first layer to the base using Dimensionals. On a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock I stamped the smaller hearts and cut them out using the Be Mine Stitch Framelits. On another piece of Whisper White Cardstock I die cut the bigger heart. Then, I stamped the sentiment from Meant To Be Stamp Set, in flirty flamingo. I adhered one of the smaller hearts to the corner of the larger heart using a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then, I mounted the hearts using Dimensionals.

Last, I added  a couple Heart Epoxy Droplets and coordinated the envelope by adding a piece of  All My Love DSP to the envelope flap.

I just love the new stitch  hearts. Starting January 3rd, you may purchase them and the stamp set, as a bundle to save 10%, and other accessories in the Stampin’ Up 2019 Occasions Catalog.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. CASE-ing Tuesday #178, was used for inspiration. Visit CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what others have created and share your CASE. Thank you for stopping by.

You Make Me Happy FMS #367

Hello friends!

I’m officially done making Christmas cards! Time to start wrapping and baking, but before that I wanted to play with a couple new things I received this week. These items will be available to customers in the Stampin’ Up 2019 Occasions Catalog, January 3, 2019.

For my card, I started with Crumb Cake for the card base. The first and second larger are cut using the Rectangle Stitch Framelit Dies. All My Love DSP is used for the second layer. I adhered the second layer to the first, then those to the card base. For the heart, I used the new Be Mine Stitch Framelits Dies and stamped the sentiment using the Meant To Be Stamp Set. The dies and stamp set are part of the Meant To Be bundle.

I adhered the scallop heart with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the stitch heart with Mini Dimensionals. To finish the card, I added some pearls.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration. I hope you have enjoyed today’s card and are excited as me for the new products! Thank you for stopping by.

Painted Harvest Christmas Wreath

Hello friends!

Have you finished making all your Christmas cards? Do you need to mass produced? Well here’s a card that is so pretty and easy to make that you’ll have your cards done in no time.

I just love this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday #177! It’s such a simple layout. Here’s my take on this week’s card.

I started with Thick Whisper White Cardstock for the card base. Then, on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock I stamped the wreath using the two step Painted Harvest Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam and Call Me Clover. Using the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment in Call Me Clover. I adhered this to a piece of Call Me Clover. Then I adhered this to the card base using Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added Red Rhinestones and a bow using Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake.

Bonus card for today! I just couldn’t decide what set to use so I made a card with each set.  This card features Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog. It was stamped using Balmy Blue. The sentiment was from the Christmas Pines Stamp Set.

Here’s this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday card that features Wishing You Well Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.  Visit us at CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group and see what other stampers have created and share your CASE with us! Thank you for stopping by.

Season of Joy

Hello friends, happy December!

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday #176! Where we choose a card from a current Stampin’ Up! Catalog and CASE (copy) by changing a little, a lot or nothing at all.

My card this week features the Dashing Deer and Christmas Pines Stamp Sets. I started by using Merry Merlot Cardstock for my card base. Then, I used Joyous Noel Specialty DSP for my first layer. The second layer, I used the Stamparatus to stamp the deer on Whisper White Cardstock with Merry Merlot. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the deer, so that I could stamp it twice without any boo boos. I then punched the corners using the Darling Label Punch. I adhered the deer to the first layer using Dimensionals. The last layer, the sentiment, was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock using the Christmas Pines sentiment. The sentiment was stamped using Shaded Spruce. It was adhered using Mini Dimensionals. Lastly, I coordinated the envelope by using the same DSP.

This is the card that CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group used for inspiration this week. Loved how simple and quick this card was. Great for mass production.

I hope you enjoy this week’s CASE. Visit our group to see what others created. Thank you for stopping by, have a great week!

Christmas Blessings

Hello friends!

I have seen many stampers make beautiful wreaths by using various stamps, so today I decided to give it a try! For my card I’m just going to use one stamp, making it simple for me since it’s my first time.

I started with a Merry Merlot card base. For the first layer, I used a piece of Joyous Noel Specialty DSP adhered to Tranquil Tide Cardstock. The second layer, the wreath, I started by lightly tracing a circle with a pencil on Whisper White Cardstock. I then used the stamp from Peaceful Poinsettia to make the wreath around the circle I drew. I used Shaded Spruce for the wreath and every other branch is stamped off. I adhered the wreath to a piece of Tranquil Tide Cardstock. This piece is adhered to the card base. The final layer is the sentiment. I used the sentiment from Christmas Pines, stamped it on Whisper White Cardstock using Merry Merlot. The ends are punched using the Triple Banner Punch and adhered with Mini Dimensionals.

I also stamped the inside with a sentiment and coordinated the envelope with the card.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration.

I’m very happy with the way the wreath turn out! Not to bad for my first try, right?  Hope you
enjoyed my card. Thank you for stopping by.
